Zidane threatens to leave Real Madrid over failure to sign 1 Premier League star

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has reportedly clashed with club's president Florentino Perez over failure to go for the signing of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Paul Pogba has for the past three seasons now been linked with a move to Real Madrid in which Los Blancos' chiefs have failed to make any official bid for him.

Even before Zinedine Zidane left Real Madrid after winning the 2017/18 Champions League title, he wanted to sign the Frenchman.

And after he made a return to the Bernabeu, there have been reports that Zidane had told the club's chiefs that he wants his fellow countryman in his squad.

But there was no official move for the former Juventus star as Manchester United are not ready to do business with any club over the sale of Paul Pogba.

Zidane is now said to be furious with the club that they should have offer Manchester United a convincing bid that will make them to allow Pogba to leave Old Trafford.

According to the report by UK Sun citing Soccerlink, Zinedine Zidane is now considering leaving Real Madrid in the summer unless the club lure Pogba to the Bernabeu.

The report added that the 1998 World Cup winner could be making a return to Juventus in the summer.

Before the start of the season, Real Madrid chiefs made sure they signed Eden Hazard from Chelsea, but injury had not allowed the Belgian to exhibit his great talents for Los Blancos.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are currently topping the Spanish La Liga table with 46 points after 21 games played this season.
