Christian Eriksen's long-awaited transfer to Internazionale has finally been completed, the Italian club have confirmed.
Eriksen, the Denmark midfielder, joins Serie A title challengers Inter to call time on his Spurs career after six-and-a-half years in north London.
He leaves Tottenham six months before he would have become a free agent, having refused to extend his contract beyond the end of the season.
Eriksen links up with former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte at the San Siro, as well as a number of other familiar faces from the Premier League who have made the move to Italy since last summer.
Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez left Manchester United for Inter before the start of the season - the former permanently and the latter on loan - while Ashley Young also made the switch from Old Trafford on a six-month deal earlier this month.
Victor Moses, the ex-Chelsea winger, similarly linked up with Conte last week, joining Inter on loan with an option to buy to reunite with his former Stamford Bridge boss.
Eriksen's proposed move to Inter has been rumbling since last summer and it's taken until the final week of the January window to finally be completed.
A breakthrough in talks appeared to occur over the weekend and the 27-year-old flew to Milan on Monday morning to undergo his medical.
