Former Premier League star Gabby Agbonlahor has urged Arsenal chiefs to sign Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as a replacement for Lucas Torreira.
Arsenal are preparing to bolster their squad before the ongoing January 2020 transfer window closes in England.
Mikel Arteta who is the Gunners' manager has been linked with some stars and the Spaniard is believed to be taking his time before recruiting.
Lucas Torreira has been impressive this season for Arsenal in all competitions, but Agbonlahor thinks he needs to be replaced at the Emirates stadium.
Gabby Agbonlahor who scored 75 goals in almost 350 games for Aston Villa is not convinced that Lucas Torreira can take Arsenal to the next step.
When asked if he thinks Wilfred Ndidi would be the best option for Arsenal, Gabby Agbonlahor stated that:'' "Yeah, he would suit.
"With the way he's been playing for Leicester, I think he's got the legs. He can move the ball forward and win the ball back,'' he explained according to Daily Star UK.
But the 33-year-old added that it will be difficult for Arsenal to lure Wilfred Ndidi away from Leicester City due to his performances this season for the Foxes.
