Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be taking his training to a more exciting level after he was spotted with Nigerian-born Portuguese sprinter Francis Obikwelu in his Lisbon gym in Portugal.
The Portuguese superstar footie is often adjudged one of the most complete stars in sports, with his match-winning brilliant 8ft-sin header against Sampdoria clearly making him out as a special breed.
The Juve star on Tuesday, January 7, paid a visit to the 2004 Olympic silver medalist in his Lisbon gym as he wants to step up his training in a bid to get in good shape ahead of next game.
Obviously, this is not the first time the Portuguese star would work with the 100metre Olympic king. In June, 5-time Ballon D'Or winner turned up at Obikwelu's gym where the Nigerian-born former Olympian was training him on speed.
In a short clip posted on Instagram by Cristiano Ronaldo, Obikwelu was seen putting Ronaldo through on his pace.
Onitsha-born Obikwelu switched his national to Portugal in 2001 because of neglect by Nigerian sports officials when he was injured while representing Nigeria at the 2000 Sydney Olympic games in Australia.
He went on win silver medal four years later in the 100 metres at the 2004 Olympic games at Athens, Greece, setting a European record after he ran the race in 9.86 seconds.
