Chelsea have confirmed that 19-year-old defender, Marc Guehi left the club on Friday to join Championship club, Swansea City on loan until the end of the season.
Guehi made his senior Chelsea debut in their Carabao Cup win over GrimsbyTown last September.
The Blues made this known in a statement on the club's official website on Friday.
The statement reads: "Marc Guehi has today completed a loan move to Swansea City for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
"The defender, 19, made his senior Blues debut in our big Carabao Cup win over Grimsby Town back in September, playing alongside Kurt Zouma at centre-back, before a further cup outing in the next round against Manchester United.
"He has also represented England Under-21s this campaign and recently signed a new long-term contract at Stamford Bridge.
"Guehi has been at Chelsea since the age of eight and progressed through the ranks with distinction.
"He featured regularly for the Under-18s as we won seven trophies in two seasons between 2016 and 2018, while this term he has captained our table-topping development squad to an unbeaten first half of the league campaign."
