Arsenal have rejected an opening bid of €10million from Roma for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, reports Forza Roma.
Mkhitaryan joined Roma on a season-long loan in the summer, with Unai Emery deeming him surplus to requirements.
Since then, the Armenia midfielder has scored three goals in 13 appearances for the Serie A side.
Although Arsenal rejected Roma's opening bid for Mkhitaryan, they have expressed their willingness to continue negotiations for a permanent transfer.
Mkhitaryan was signed in January 2018 by Arsene Wenger, in a swap deal that saw Alexis Sanchez sign for Manchester United.
