Cristaino Ronaldo has been surprisingly omitted in the list of top ten football stars across Europe despite having a soft stint in Juventus where he won domestic doubles with the Old Lady.
The Portuguese joined the Italian giants in 2018 after winning the Champions League with Real Madrid and moved on to win Serie A and Italian Super under Massimiliano Allegri.
On the international stage, the former Man United star won the inaugural Nations League title in the summer with Portugal and helped his country qualify for the Euro 2020.
But his successful spell with both club and country could not book him a place in the list as he was reduced to 31st place in Europe, having managed to score 332 points of the index ranking.
According to the list released by the CIES Football Observatory, Ronaldo's arch-rival Lionel Messi grabbed the first spot with a staggering 401 points.
Ajax talisman Hakim Ziyech surprisingly came second on the list with 377 points, beating French and PSG sensation Kylian Mbappe to the third.
Manchester City's Riyad Mahrez and Paris Saint-Germain's Angel Di Maria sealed the 4th and 5th spots with 362 index and 360 index respectively.
