Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has stated emphatically that he would love to face his former club Real Madrid in the final of the 2019/20 Champions League.
This comes after his club qualified for the knock out stages of the Champions League as leaders in Group D finishing with 16 points.
Before Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for a move to Juventus, the Portuguese helped Los Blancos win the 2017/18 Champions League title beating Liverpool in the final.
And during his first season at Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo steered the Old Lady to the quarterfinal of the Champions League before losing against Ajax.
Now that Juventus will begin another attempt towards winning the Champions League title this term, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to avoid his former club Real Madrid in the round of 16.
There is a possibility of Juventus meeting Real Madrid in the round of 16 because the Spanish side finished second in Group A behind Paris-Saint-Germain.
"Real are an extraordinary team, but if you ask me, I'd rather face them later. In the final? I would sign up now to meet them in the final,'' Ronaldo told Sky Sport Italia.
The former Manchester United star also admitted to be physical fit after playing with pain for the past four weeks.
