Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, has said that "the door will always be open for Pep Guardiola".
Guardiola, who is currently Manchester City manager, emerged from Barca's youth system to become a senior star.
The Spaniard eventually become coach of the first team and oversaw a trophy-laden era at the Nou Camp.
Even since he left the club, he has managed Bayern Munich and City.
But Bartomeu told La Repubblica about Guardiola returning: "It doesn't depend on me.
"It was Pep who decided to leave, but the door will always be open for him at Barca."
