Arsenal fans have launched an attack on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after excusing himself to use the gents during their defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gabonese striker went missing while the Gunners were looking for an equaliser in their 2-1 defeat to the Seagulls on Thursday night.
A goal each from Adam Webster and Neal Maupay ensured Alexandre Lacazette turned out a mere consolation at the end of the meeting.
The defeat further means that the north Londoners hope of finishing top four suffered a major set back as they slip to tenth on the Premier League table.
Meanwhile, his manager Freddie Ljungberg said "He ran off and came back two or three minutes later. "If you feel bad you feel bad, it's nothing you can change."
The Swede said: "I actually didn't even notice he went off, I just saw him come back on after he'd been off for a couple of minutes. "When you need to go, you need to go."
Arsenal slipped to tenth on the log after the defeat and they will be hoping they can return to winning ways when they battle West Ham United at the London Stadium this weekend.
Meanwhile, some Gunners fans took to social media to express their displeasure towards the striker.
One wrote: "Aubameyang went to take a dump right?" Another tweeted: "Did Aubameyang just run to the toilet in the middle of the game which we were losing?"
One noted: "Did Aubameyang go to the toilet?" Another added: "And Aubameyang has just emerged from the tunnel. Toilet break?"
The north Londoners have now gone nine matches without a win after their defeat to Brighton on Thursday night.
SunSport reports that it is their worst run in over four decades - as they last had this kind of poor run in March 1977, when they went without a win for ten games.
