Manchester United are reportedly interested in Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale and he could be on his way to Old Trafford when the January 2020 transfer window opens.
Before the close of the last transfer window, Gareth Bale was close to a one-year deal with China's Jiangsu Suning which could have made him the highest paid players on earth.
But Real Madrid chiefs refused to sell the former Tottenham star to the Chinese Super League.
According to the report by UK Sun, Real Madrid chiefs knew that Manchester United were interested which made them to block the move.
The relationship between Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and Gareth Bale has not been rosy this season and the club are not considering allowing him leave.
The report added that Gareth Bale himself is ready to leave Real Madrid next year and could make a return to the Premier League.
Real Madrid are also believed to use Gareth Bale to tempt Manchester United giving them France international Paul Pogba.
Paul Pogba's future is also uncertain at Manchester United after claiming that he would be glad to play under fellow countryman Zinedine Zidane.
