Nigerian celebrities have congratulated Burna Boy on his nomination for the 2020 Grammy Awards.
Burna Boy was nominated for Grammy Award for Best World Music Album with his album, 'African Giant'.
His album was nominated alongside Gece 'Altin Gun' ,Celia 'Angelique Kidjo'
The 62nd Grammy Awards is set to air on Sunday, January 26, 2020.
The announcement of his nomination has since stirred reactions from Nigerian artists on social media's
Wizkid took to his Twitter page to congratulate Burna Boy on his nomination.
'Star boy' as popularly called wrote: "King Burna! Congratulations blood!
"You deserve everything and more! From time G."
Davido also reacted to the nomination of Burna Boy for the 2020 Grammy Awards on his Twitter page.
Davido wrote: "Congrats Burna boy, you deserve more than a nomination."
Also, Singer Waje on her Twitter page wrote: "Burna! Beautiful news."
Official host of BBNaija, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu wrote: "And Burna Boy is gonna win it too!!! Giant!
Also, Banky W took to his Twitter page celebrating Burna Boy's nomination.
He wrote: "Our African Giant has been nominated for a GRAMMY!! Congratulations to Burna Boy, his Mom and the entire team.
"AMAZING, and well deserved. Anything is possible with a little bit of faith and a lot of hard work. So so happy for him."
Peter Okoye, popularly known as MrP, also congratulated Burna Boy on his Grammy Award nomination.
He said: Burna Boy's nomination was for the continent of Africa.
