Former Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure has urged the club to sign an experienced defender in next year's January transfer window following their 3-1 defeat at Liverpool in the Premier League last weekend.
Toure also revealed what he doesn't like about Man City manager, Pep Guardiola.
"I think it might be hard but in January you have to get a defender," Toure told Sky Sports.
"It's not too late, nothing is too late. When I watch the game against Liverpool, I don't want to blame anybody, I don't want to blame Rodrigo, he's a young player and a good player, but I think if Fernandinho was in the middle it would be really important.
"City misses him in there, he is strong, sharp, clever and anticipates and tackles. I respect the decision of the manager because he is so clever and so smart but I don't like him in defence.
"They need to bring someone experienced in defence because Laporte is injured for a long time and Mendy was not there.".
