Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has admitted that his side will face a major battle to hold on to the title they won last season.
Manchester City fell 8 points behind Liverpool after their shock 2-0 loss to Wolves on Sunday.
Liverpool defeated Leicester 2-1 earlier on Saturday to open the gap.
Guardiola conceded that Pep Guardiola's Man City now hold a huge advantage in the title race.
"It's a lot of points. They [Liverpool] haven't dropped any points, for many circumstances.
"But it's better for us not to think that one team is eight points ahead," the Spaniard told the press at Etihad after the game.
