Frank Lampard has confirmed Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James will play against Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
Chelsea welcome the League Two side to Stamford Bridge, with several of their first-team regulars set to sit out the game.
Defenders Andreas Christensen and Emerson Palmieri went off injured during the defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, but Chelsea have been handed a double boost ahead of the cup clash.
'[Hudson-Odoi and James will] be involved on Wednesday night, they'll be involved,' Lampard said ahead of the game.
'We certainly need to look at players who haven't been playing as much against Grimsby.
'We'll pay them due respect, but it certainly is minutes for certain players who haven't been there.
'Callum is on the road to recovery. It was a long injury so he needs game time.
'And Reece, similarly, so yeah there'll be some different changes but I expect the same level of performance.
'And what I don't want to lose is the feeling of tonight [against Liverpool], the feeling of how we can be and it's important we keep that.'
Christian Pulisic could also be in for a start after Mason Mount's recent brush with injury, according to the Telegraph.
Mount made a remarkable recovery from an ankle issue last week and is likely to be rested after playing through the pain against Liverpool.
Hudson-Odoi is yet to feature this season after picking up an Achilles injury last April, but recently signed a new five-year deal with the Blues.
Academy graduate James is set to finally get his first-team debut after undergoing ankle surgery during the summer.
