Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, has warned striker, Tammy Abraham to improve on his game following the Blues' 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
He also explained why he did not feature winger, Christian Pulisic in Chelsea's defeat to Liverpool, adding that the US international is young and his chances will come soon.
First-half goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino, saw the Premier League leaders seize control at Stamford Bridge.
But the Blues produced a spirited performance after half-time and N'Golo Kante pulled one back.
"He was struggling a little bit at the end and again I think it's what happens with Tammy," Lampard told Sky Sports.
"I think he's had a fantastic start to the season, but now the levels are: can you get through games? 'I'm not saying today, because he had a little bit of knock, but he came off against Wolves after an incredible performance individually, but the thing with young players sometimes is, yeah, can Tammy get through games?
"I'm asking a lot of him, and I thought again he gave his everything as he always does, and he'll be alright Tammy.
"But it wasn't a bad chance for us to try and get Michy [Batshuayi] on the pitch anyway, try and give something different upfront, it just wasn't going to fall for us in the end today."
Lampard added: "I have a squad to pick from, I decided to go with Mason today. These are my choices to make. Christian is a young player as well.
"His chances will come. There are people on the bench."
