Man Utd vs Leicester: Solskjaer singles out three players that must step up

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has listed three players in his squad that must step up.

After hammering Chelsea 4-0 on the opening weekend of the new campaign, Solskjaer's side have failed to register a win from their subsequent three matches.

United were held at Wolves and Southampton and were beaten by Crystal Palace at Old Trafford for the first time since 1989.

Solskjaer has placed his faith in a group of emerging young talents, which has seen the likes of Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata marginalised so far this season.

With the likes of Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw out injured for Saturday's match against unbeaten Leicester, Solskjaer could be forced to recall some of his more seasoned squad members and has told them what he expectes.

"Well, you've got players who can come in with loads of experience, Juan (Mata), Nemanja (Matic) and Ash (Young) who didn't start the first game and have got to step up and the average age might go up," the Norwegian told reporters on Friday.
