Ever since Apple Music was launched, the service was only available either through its desktop app or through its mobile app. While this is fine, it is a bit limiting compared to Spotify which has a web player in addition to its desktop and mobile apps. However, the good news is that Apple has finally caught up.
The company has officially launched an Apple Music player for the web, although we should note that it is still in beta so what you see now could change in the future. For now, based on its design, it seems to be reminiscent of the desktop version of Apple Music, as you can see in the screenshot above.
Those with an Apple Music subscription will be able to sign in via the web player and access their Apple Music like they would on their desktop or computer. For those without an Apple Music subscription, you can still browse the website and you will also be able to preview all the songs but not play them in full.
This is actually not the first time we're seeing Apple Music for the web. Last year, there was an unofficial Apple Music player for the web that was launched. Perhaps Apple saw the demand for such a service and decided to launch their own. If you're interested in taking a look at the Apple Music player for the web, then head on over to its website.
