Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has singled out Midfielder Mason Mount for praise following his brilliant performance against Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
Chelsea played a 1-1 draw with Leicester City at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
A first half goal from Mason Mount and a second-half header from Wilfred Ndidi ensured both teams got a point at Stamford Bridge.
But Lampard now believes that Mount's goal against the Foxes showcased everything that makes the 20-year-old a special talent.
"The epitome of Mount's talent was shown in his goal - great energy off the ball to close people down and then the quality to finish it," Lampard was quoted by Chelsea's official website as saying after the match.
"He could have scored two more goals in that opening period actually but we know he's going to get better and better.
"That was the first of some big moments for Mason and I'm delighted for him on that level but I know he'll have wanted that to be part of a win."
Chelsea will now tackle Norwich City in their next Premier League fixture on August 24.
