Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney has backed Midfielder Paul Pogba to prove his quality if he ends up staying at the club in this summer's transfer window.
He also said that Leicester City defender, Harry Maguire, would be a good signing for Manchester United if he eventually leaves the Foxes for the Red Devils this summer.
We recall that Pogba has been heavily linked with a move away from Manchester United to Real Madrid or Juventus this summer.
Maguire has also drawn interest from Manchester United in the past few days.
"It's obviously down to the club, to the board, to the manager, but I think also to the player," Rooney told ESPN.
"If Pogba wants to stay, he'll stay and prove what a good player he is.
"Behind the scenes, I'm sure they're working on whether to keep him or whether to let him go.
"I think Harry's a good player and over the last few years he's improved as a player," Rooney added.
"He's gotten better, and he's been a main player for Leicester City, but also for England.
"I think he'd be a good signing if they can get him."
