Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, did not give much away, when asked about a potential move for Paulo Dybala.
United have opened talks with Juventus over a deal to sign the Argentine forward.
Dybala's agent flew into London to begin talks, over a deal that could see United striker Romelu Lukaku go the other way.
United have become frustrated with Inter Milan's failure to meet their £75million asking price for Lukaku and could instead do a deal with their Serie A rivals.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, speaking on Tuesday night after his side's 1-0 win over his hometown club Kristiansund in Oslo, was tight-lipped on Dybala.
"I'm not here to talk about any rumours or speculation about other team's players.
"But of course we're working on one or two cases, as I've said before.
"There's another ten days before we start the league and hopefully we can announce a fresh face or two," he said.
