Bayern Munich's top left-back, David Alaba has been offered to Premier League champions, Manchester City, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Bayern are willing to let the Austrian international leave this summer if they can use him in a part-exchange deal for Leroy Sane.
The Spanish newspaper reports that Alaba was offered to City as part of a deal that would see Sane return to Germany.
However, City have no intention to offload Sane and have refused the offer, despite Benjamin Mendy being set to miss the opening month of the new season.
Bayern also reportedly offered Alaba to La Liga champions in a bid to sign Ousmane Dembele, but were met with another rejection.
Bayern are struggling to find replacement for Robben and Franck Ribery who both left the club this summer.
