Transfer: Liverpool, Tottenham's top defenders set to leave clubs

Liverpool defender, Nathaniel Clyne is set to leave the Champions League winners for a return to Crystal Palace, according to The Mail.

The 28-year-old began his career at Crystal Palace and the Eagles have opened talks over re-signing the right-back.

Palace are looking to replace Aaron Wan Bissaka, who left the club for Manchester United in a £50million deal this summer.

And Clyne is open to a move back to south London.
Meanwhile, Tottenham defender Danny Rose is being linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus.

The England international has been left out of Tottenham squad for the pre-season tour to Asia to negotiate a move away from the club.

Juventus have now emerged as the frontrunners for Rose.

Juventus boss, Maurizio Sarri, who left Chelsea to take charge of Juve in the summer, is said to be a big admirer of the England star.
