Players of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, will be rewarded with $75,000 (about N27million), for scoring three goals against Cameroon.
Nigeria are through to the quarter-final stage, following a dramatic 3-2 win over the Indomitable Lions on Saturday.
Odion Ighalo opened scoring via a deflected effort, before the Indomitable Lions scored twice through Stephane Bahoken and Clinton N'Jie before the break.
However, Ighalo and Alex Iwobi netted to wrap up a memorable victory for Gernot Rohr's men.
Before the match, the CEO of Aiteo Group, Benedict Peters, promised to reward the team with $25,000 for each goal they scored in Alexandria.
This was confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in a tweet.
"AITEO boss, Mr. Benedict Peters, is in town to watch the Super Eagles vs Cameroon and he has promised $25,000 per goal, urging the team to repeat the feat of Uyo and get $100,000 after the game," it read.
Gernot Rohr's men had beaten Cameroon 4-0 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, during the qualifying series for the 2018 World Cup.
