New Juventus manager, Maurizio Sarri, has wasted no time before meeting up with his star man Cristiano Ronaldo, to discuss his new role in the team.
Sarri officially took over as Juve boss earlier this week, having walked out on Chelsea after just one season in the Premier League.
At his introductory press conference on Thursday, Italian spoke of how he hopes to help Ronaldo break more records, including the Serie A single season goalscoring record of 36 which was set by Gonzalo Higuain under Sarri at Napoli.
Several Italian newspapers including Tuttosport, reported on Saturday, that Sarri and Juve director of sport, Fabio Paratici, flew out to the Cote d'Azur to meet with Ronaldo on his yacht.
They discussed the Portuguese superstar playing in a new False 9 role, in order to improve his goalscoring record.
That has even led to some Italian newspapers dubbing the Portuguese CR9, as opposed to his usual nickname of CR7.
Ronaldo netted 28 times in his first season in Turin in 2018/2019, but that was fewer than he managed in all of his nine seasons at Real Madrid.
It was also the fewest goals he's scored in any season since his 26 for Manchester United in 2008/2009.
