Neymar has continued to keep in touch with former Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi since quitting Camp Nou.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward revealed he would leave France and reports claim the Brazilian is heading back to Spain to rejoin the Catalan side.
And the Ligue champions have resulted into cashing in on the 27-year-old and it is understood that PSG chairman, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has said irresponsible behaviour from players will no more be tolerated.
Neymar joined the Parisians from Barcelona for a world record £200million in August 2017.
But missed a larger part of the 2018-19 campaign through injury and suspension with just 17 league appearances, scoring 15 goals.
His two years at Parc des Princes has also been overshadowed by his antics off the pitch and PSG will consider selling him this summer if they receive a substantial offer.
According to Spanish news media outfit Sport, Barca stars have messaged Neymar to ask whether the rumours of a potential return are true.
The Brazilian star is also in a WhatsApp group with Messi and Suarez - called 'The three sudacas'.
It is also understood that Messi, Suarez and others would support Neymar's decision, which is in contrast to the rumoured signing of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.
Neymar won two La Liga titles and a Champions League triumph during his spell with Barca, and would be a good fit in their attacking line.
