Manchester United will let Paul Pogba leave this summer, but only if their asking price of £150m is met.
The Frenchman is the subject of interest from Real Madrid and his former club Juventus an inconsistent time at Old Trafford since his return in 2016.
His future appeared to become much clearer on Sunday when he admitted for the first time that he is looking for a 'new challenge' away from United.
Despite wanting to leave Old Trafford, the club do not want to let him go and will only do so for an enormous fee of £150, reports the Mirror.
After coming through the youth ranks with United, Pogba moved to Juventus and returned to Manchester for £89m in 2016.
However, it has not quite worked out for the World Cup winner back in England in a turbulent period for United.
Despite finishing as the club's top scorer last season, he is not an entirely popular figure among fans and he is now looking for a new club.
'Like you said, there is a lot of talking and a lot of thinking as well,' Pogba told reporters in Japan.
'For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.
'After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well... I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.
'I am thinking of this - to have a new challenge somewhere else.'
However, they have already spent huge money this summer, forking out £90m for Eden Hazard, £54m on Luka Jovic, £45m on Eder Militao, £43m on Ferland Mendy and £40.5m on Rodrygo.
United have been linked with moves for Newcastle United's Sean Longstaff and Barcelona's Ivan Rakitic and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will need to bolster his midfield options even further if Pogba is allowed to leave.
