Chelsea striker, Olivier Giroud, has disclosed that he was annoyed after manager, Maurizio Sarri, signed Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus.
Giroud said he was angry even after Sarri offered him an explanation on why he signed Higuain.
Higuain joined Chelsea on loan from Juventus in January but Giroud said he was not happy after the Argentine joined the Blues because his playing time at the club reduced, adding that it wasn't easy for him.
"When I didn't understand Sarri's choices, I went to see him, he gave me explanations," Giroud told RMC.
"What was annoying was he preferred to recruit Higuain. My playing time did not improve and it was not easy."
