Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, has announced he is staying with the club next season.
Speaking at a press conference Thursday afternoon, the 33-year-old centre-back commited his future to Los Blancos.
This follows a wave of speculation, linking him with a summer move away from the Spanish capital.
"I am Madridista. I want to retire here.
"I don't want the fans to be left in any doubts," Ramos said.
We reported that Real president, Florentino Perez, had blocked a potential exit for the player.
Ramos was looking to quit the LaLiga side, after clashing with Perez on several occasions.
