Ex U.S President Barack Obama has explained the rationale behind Argentina's failure to win the World Cup in recent times, claiming the squad are not playing as a team.
Having Barcelona star Lionel Messi in their squad, Argentina were tipped to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, but they were sent out of the championship in the knock out stages.
Obama who served as U.S president from 2009 to 2017 has now offered an insight on Lionel Messi and his teammates at the national team.
"Even people that we consider geniuses work with other people in order to develop their style.
"In Argentina, even though Messi is wonderful, they have problems winning the World Cup.
"My advice to young people is that we have to recognize very few people achieve great things on their own,''
Obama said at the EXMA Conference in Bogota according to Goal.
