Incoming Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte tells club to sign Nigerian star

Antonio Conte has reportedly informed Inter Milan he wants to make Nigerian winger Victor Moses his first signing at the club.

The Chelsea attacker is currently on an 18 months loan deal with Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce until the end of next season.

Moses, who retired from international football after the Super Eagles crashed out of the FIFA World Cup in Russia last year, was frozen out of the Blues team after the arrival of Maurizio Sarri.

The 28-year-old made just two Premier League appearances for the club in the first half of the season before being shipped to Turkey to finish the season.

After sealing his long term loan spell to the Turkish side, he has scored three goals and assisted one other in 15 matches in all competitions.

UK Metro however reports that Conte, who is expected to assume duty at the San Siro this week want to reunite with his former player but this time in Italy.

Moses shone under the Italian born tactician despite being converted to the wing back position at the Stamford Bridge - scoring three goals and three assists in 28 EPL matches.

The retired Super Eagles forward was also instrumental to Chelsea winning the Premier League under Conte after arriving the club in 2016.

Meanwhile, with the former Blues and Juventus boss set to take charge at Inter Milan, Sky Sports claim Moses could be one of his first signings.

But the winger has 12 months left on his loan deal at Fenerbahce, while his contract with Chelsea expires in the summer of 2021.

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is another Premier League star Conte is looking to land this summer once his appointment at the club has been confirmed.
