Paris Saint-Germain star, Kylian Mbappe has disclosed that he "went back to bed" after Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi scored two goals in Barca's 2-2 draw against Eibar in the La Liga on Sunday.
He also said that he is aiming to win this year's European Golden Shoe ahead of Messi.
Messi, who won the Golden Shoe last season, is currently leading the race to win the 2018/19 Europe Golden Shoe.
The Argentine international has netted 34 goals so far, while Mbappe is second with 30 goals.
Speaking at the Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels awards (the French PFA awards) on Sunday, Mbappe told reporters: "Yes I'm aiming for the golden shoe this year.
"This afternoon I took a break in my nap to see Messi's match - after his two goals, I went back to bed!
"I still have 90 mins, I have nothing to lose!"
Mbappe will hope to score at least five goals when PSG tackle Reims this Friday in the Ligue 1 final day fixture.
