Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have dominated world football for well over a decade now, pushing football fans into a corner of identifying the best between the two.
Both superstars have five Ballon d'Ors each in their cabinets while helping their clubs winning titles in the process.
France Football Magazine have however taken a different turn to the argument of who is better between the two players.
They painted a picture of both attackers kissing on the cover of their latest edition asking 'Are you Messi or Ronaldo' with the duo on their respective kits, passionately embrace.
According to Daily Mail, the artwork was originally painted onto a bus shelter by artist Tvboy in Barcelona in 2017 and has been widely popularised since.
The painting is a homage to the iconic 'kissing coppers' creation by Banksy and it was sketched on a pub wall in Brighton and was sold for £350,000 in 2011.
Meanwhile, a panel of legends were said to have addressed the question and pick their favourite between the two.
Football fans have now reacted negatively to the magazine of the two stars kissing on the front cover of France Football magazine.
One said that: "Making the buzz is the French trend, right? Charlie Hebdo, FranceFootball. "
Another person wrote: "It's not that we're shocked... but they have families; women and children and I find that it is a lack of respect towards them. "
