Tottenham playmaker, Christian Eriksen, is emerging as a preferred target for Real Madrid over Manchester United's Paul Pogba, Marca reports.
Eriksen's form could mean Pogba misses out on his 'dream' move to the Bernabeu.
Real boss, Zinedine Zidane, is a known admirer of Pogba, but the LaLiga giants have also been heavily linked with Eriksen and Chelsea's Eden Hazard, as they look to boost their creativity following a poor season.
And following an unimpressive display from Pogba in Manchester United's 1-0 defeat to Barcelona, the 26-year-old Frenchman could be the one who gets left behind.
Doubts are emerging over how Pogba could fit into Real's team, with Madrid keen not to make marquee signings that will make little impact in the league or Champions League.
