Southampton striker, Michael Obafemi has disclosed that he will beat Paris Saint-Germain, PSG, forward, Kylian Mbappe in a 100 metres race.
Mbappe is currently regarded as one of the quickest players in world football.
But Obafemi believes Mbappe, who won the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France in Russia, wouldn't stand a chance against him in a sprint to the finish line.
Speaking on competing with Mbappe in a 100 metres race, Obafemi was quoted Daily Echo as saying: "He'd be left behind, don't worry about that.
"I ran 100 metres in 10.8 seconds about two years ago. I don't know what I'd clock now but I'm very confident about getting in behind defenders."
Obafemi has been ruled out of the season due to a hamstring injury.
The 18-year-old scored his first Premier League goal for Southampton against Huddersfield back in December.
