Nigeria's Super Falcons have climbed to 38th position in the latest FIFA ranking which was released by the world football governing body on Friday, March 29.
Despite winning the African Women Cup of Nations in Ghana, Nigeria dropped one place in the last FIFA ranking.
But wins in six international friendlies in 2019 lifted them to 38th and remain top of the log in Africa.
Cameroon are occupying second position in Africa, South Africa are placed third while Ghana occupy fourth position.
And on the global scene, world champions USA and Germany retained the top two spots, while England climbed to third.
Meanwhile, the next Women's FIFA ranking will be on July 12 which is expected to be after the World Cup in France.
