Chelsea fans were treated to an exciting glimpse of their new signing Christian Pulisic during USA's friendly against Ecuador on Friday night.
The Premier League giants spent an initial £48million on the 20-year-old in January, before immediately loaning the winger back to Borussia Dortmund for the remainder of the season.
Pulisic has already been earmarked as a direct replacement for Eden Hazard who appears increasingly likely to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The Belgium international has turned down an offer of a new contract worth £300,000-a-week and, with just over a year left on his current deal, Chelsea are likely to grant the 28-year-old his dream move to Real Madrid, as long as they receive a fee in the region of £100m.
Pulisic has struggled to find his best form this term and has been hampered by injuries but demonstrated what he is capable of, up against a seasoned Premier League defender in the shape of Antonio Valencia.
The Manchester United captain has also struggled to maintain fitness recently and has been reduced to a bit-part role since the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Jose Mourinho's interim replacement.
Valencia, however, looked a shadow of his former self when confronted by Pulisic who left him in his wake from a standing start, demonstrating a sensational turn of speed.
Pulisic managed just over an hour before he was replaced by Sebastian Lletget in a match which was settled by Gyasi Zardes' 81st minute goal.
