Nwankwo Kanu has waved off claims of misunderstanding with ex-Super Eagles captain and legend Austin Jay Jay Okocha.
According to Brila FM report, the pair were not best of friends years back after Okocha, who also played alongside Kanu quit international football.
But after Kanu claimed the FA Cup winners with Portsmouth FC, he was chosen alongside Okocha to decide, who among the duo will emerge as ambassador for Fidelity Bank Plc.
In addition, the report further revealed that Kanu allegedly used his contacts and connections among South East governors, to claim the honour which Okocha did not find funny.
Interestingly, the pair, began avoiding one another any time they are scheduled to be together, a close source revealed.
But on Tuesday, March 19, Kanu speaking live on Brila FM with ex-Eagles teammate Ifeanyi Udeze denied there's beef between them.
"Okocha is my senior brother, In fact our families are very close.
"Abeg o, there's nothing of such," stressed Kanu, who alongside Okocha captained Super Eagles of Nigeria.
