Champions League draws promises to be exciting after eight teams, including four Premier League sides, made it through to the quarter finals.
Liverpool was the fourth Premier League side to seal a spot in the quarter finals, joining Man City, Spurs and Manchester United who had earlier qualified.
The Reds demolished Bayern Munich 3-1 at the Allianz Arena to qualify on a 3-1 goal aggregate, with Sadio Mane inspiring the side with a brace.
United, on their part staged a sensational comeback against Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 to progress, with Man City thumping Schalke 7-0 at Etihad to qualify on a 10-2 aggregate.
The four teams now face the prospect of battling each other in the last eight given that the restriction on teams from the same country drawing each other is now lifted.
Incidentally, City were bundled out of the tournament at the same stage by Liverpool who went all the way to the finals.
As such, the Pep Guardiola-side would be keen to avoid facing either of the EPL clubs in Liverpool and Manchester United.
United and City are due to meet in a league match before the end of the season and could yet face each other in the latter stages of the FA Cup.
The draws for the competition's last eight will take place on Friday, March 15, at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
