A group of incensed Real Madrid supporters stayed behind at the Bernabeu to hurl abuse at Thibaut Courtois after they were dumped out of the Champions Leagueby Ajax.
Trailing 2-1 from the first leg, Ajax stunned Madrid as goals from Hakim Ziyech, David Neres and Dusan Tadic gave them the advantage before Marco Asensio pulled one back for Santiago Solari's side.
However, Lasse Schone spectacular free-kick put Ajax out of sight with 18 minutes remaining and the Dutch outfit held on to book their place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
Courtois, who has had a disappointing debut season at Madrid, was widely criticised for his inability to deal with Schone's looping strike which sealed Ajax's 5-3 aggregate victory.
Gary Lineker trolled Courtois on Twitter and he wasn't the only one to mock the former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid goalkeeper for his performance on Tuesday evening.
Courtois' move to Madrid was shrouded in controversy due to his history with Atleti and it's clear not all Madrid fans have warmed to him yet.
'You can't even stop a taxi! Go back to Atletico!' a group of Madrid fans yelled at the Belgian as he made his way out of the stadium.
Real Madrid boss Santiago Solari stressed that the idea of quitting Madrid was not on his mind in the wake of the defeat.
'I didn't come here to give up,' the Argentinian said after the final whistle.
Solari added: 'The season is difficult, but we are here to show our heart and character in difficult moments.
'Easy moments are easy for everyone, you can climb up and surf them, but difficult moments you have to show bravery.'
