Here is the new Premier League table after wins for Man United, City and draw for Liverpool

Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City are now topping the English topflight standings after match day 29 games following their 1-0 win over Bournemouth.

Pep Guardiola's side were lucky in this encounter to have gotten the maximum points thanks to second half goal by Riyad Mahrez as the Citizens now have 71 points.

Liverpool missed the chance to return to the top of the Premier League standings on Sunday, March 3, as they were forced to a goalless draw by Everton at the Goodison Park.

Manchester United are now occupying fourth position on the table thanks to their win over Southampton at Old Trafford in which Belgian star Romelu Lukaku scored brace.

The fight for the fourth place this season in the Premier League is now among Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Arsenal would have helped themselves secured a fourth position after their last game against Tottenham if Aubameyang had scored the late minute penalty at the Wembley stadium.

The Gunners are now occupying fifth position on the standings with 57 points, while Chelsea who defeated Fulham on Sunday, March 3, remain sixth on the table but have a game in hand.

And at the drop zone, Fulham occupy 19th position while Huddersfield are rooted at the bottom of the table in which only a miracle will save them from relegation this term with 9 games to go.
