Barcelona have mocked Real Madrid star Luka Modric after an image of the Croatian pulling the shirt of Lionel Messi in El Clasico went viral.
The 2018 Ballon D'Or winner dragged the Argentine to the ground in the second period of their Copa del Rey clash at the Bernabeu in midweek.
Los Blancos were beaten 3-0 as Barca booked their place in the Cup final for the sixth consecutive time.
Images of Modric's tackle went viral on social media and La Blaugrana's official Twitter feed could not resist weighing in.
Alongside the aforementioned image, the club wrote: "It's much easier to get a #Messi shirt by going to our online store."
Football lovers across the world have also reacted to the image and its wider context.
Ghazi wrote on Twitter: "Modrić had the pleasure to touch the shirt of the best player in the world."
Ayodeji added: "I hope messi eventually gave modric he's shirt after the match."
Arsenal fan Mr Sam said: "Modric acted like the Ballon d'Or wasn't enough that he tried to steal Messi's jersey."
Renegade questioned the pair's final positions in the voting for the world footballer of the year award and said:
"Imagine thinking modric is better than Messi couldn't be me."
