Sadio Mane's house was burgled while the Senegalese was busy tackling Bayern Munich in the Champions League's last-16 match played at Anfield, on Tuesday, February 19.
The burglars took advantage of the opportunity and managed to get away with watches, mobile phones and car keys belonging to the Premier League star.
Detective Inspector Phil Mahon pleaded with members of the public with information on the incident to come forth and assist the ongoing investigations.
"We know the watches in particular are of significant monetary value and I would also like to appeal to anyone who might have been offered the item for sale since the burglary to contact police," he said.
No one was at the premises at the time of the break in, as Mane was busy trying to find The Reds a crucial win against the Bundesliga giants, with the rest of Liverpool all locked on the match.
And this is not the first Champions League burglary the 26-year-old has experienced.
The Senegal international's house was robbed in 2017, while facing Maribor in the Champions League.
