Here is the only player who has failed to improve under Solskjaer at Man United

Former England international Alan Shearer has named Chilean football star Alexis Sanchez as the only player whose game has not improved under Manchester United boss Solskjaer.

Since December 2018 that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, Manchester United have been in superb form in all competitions.

The Premier League giants have won 10 games out of 11 since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer returned to Old Trafford.

Most of the players who did not perform very well under Jose Mourinho have found their rhythm in the last 10 games.

Players like Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are now enjoying their games at Manchester United since the arrival of Solskjaer.

Shearer who was a striker during his active playing days has now named Alexis Sanchez as the only player at Old Trafford who needs to improve.

"The impact he has had has been amazing. It's like a big dark cloud has been lifted.

"If it had been just one player under-performing under Mourinho, Pogba would have been sold.

''But almost all of the United team were and aside from Alexis Sanchez, Solskjaer has improved every players' performance by at least 20 per cent,'' the 48-year-old told Sun UK.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will face French club Paris-Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash on Tuesday night, February 12.
