Breaking: Former Nigerian footballer dies after brief illness

Taiwo Ogunjobi, former Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), is dead.

The news of Ogunjobi's demise have been confirmed on the Nigerian football governing body's NFF via their Twitter handle.

The Nigerian international played for former WNDC now Shooting Stars before representing his fatherland in 1973.

His death was confirmed by his Special Adviser and media aide, Tunde Shamsudeen on Monday, February 11.
