Liverpool fans have been described as the most satisfied Premier League supporters according to recent Facebook behaviour research.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United are the most popular English topflight club on all social media platforms as reported by the Sun.

The report further reveals that Arsenal fans remain the least satisfied of all the top six EPL clubs despite the change of guard last summer.

Frenchman Arsene Wenger stepped down from his position as the Gunners head coach with Unai Emery taking over for the first time in 22 years at the Emirates Stadium.

No fewer than 300,000 hostile reactions were said to have been shared on Facebook last year owing to the inconsistency of the club.

On the other hand, Liverpool supporters were said to have shared well over four million positive messages to Jurgen Klopp's men in 2018 in spite of losing the Champions League title to Real Madrid last year.

Southampton were the lowest ranked team on the chart after struggling to avoid relegation, with Mark Hughes shown the exit doors.

Eddie Howe's Bournemouth placed second in a table after generating good and bad reactions for the fewest angry responses across all the Premier League clubs at 538.

Mauricio Pochettino remains in the good books of Spurs fans despite the endless trophy-drought campaigns - garnering over one million love reactions.

Of all the three newly promoted teams into the Premier League, Wolves have the highest score with a good to bad ratio of 19.6, slightly above relegation favourites Cardiff and Fulham.

Meanwhile, Manchester City were the fastest growing club on Facebook, with seven million new fans acquired.
