Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly ready to challenge Real Madrid and Manchester United for the signature of Tottenham gaffer Mauricio Pochettino at the end of the season.
Despite recently taking over at Chelsea from Antonio Conte, Maurizio Sarri is currently under pressure this season in the Premier League.
The Blues' board are said to be livid with the club's embarrassing Premier League defeat against Bournemouth, although Chelsea bounced back with an impressive result against Huddersfield.
According to the report by Express UK, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has told Maurizio Sarri that he will be fired if he fails to finish among the top four at the end of the season.
And should Chelsea fail to qualify for next season's Champions League, it means Sarri will have to face the exit doors at Stamford Bridge.
But Chelsea are already planning to lure Mauricio Pochettino to the club as the report claimed that the Argentine was the Blues' first choice even before Sarri was hired.
They will face serious competition from Manchester United and Real Madrid who are also interested in the 46-year-old Argentine.
Mauricio Pochettino and his wards are currently occupying second position on the Premier League standings with 57 points after 25 games.
