Former England striker, Gary Lineker, has criticised Cristiano Ronaldo for posting an ill-timed selfie, while on board his private jet on Tuesday evening.
Lineker flagged the Juventus star's tweet before saying:
"Not the day for this tweet. It really isn't."
Ronaldo's picture comes in the wake of Emiliano Sala's disappearance on Tuesday, as he flew from Nantes to Cardiff to complete his move to the Premier League side.
Sala was on board the small plane that went missing over the English channel on Monday night.
The Argentine star, who cost Cardiff £15million, was one of two people boarding the flight back to Wales from Nantes, where he had gone to say goodbye to his former team-mates.
Guernsey Police announced on Tuesday afternoon, that the search for the aircraft had been called off for the day at 5pm
