Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng has officially joined Spanish giants Barcelona on loan.
The five-time Europeans champions confirmed Boateng's move on Monday evening, January 21.
Boateng joins Barcelona from Italian Seria A side Sassuolo.
The former AC Milan forward will replace departed Munir El haddadi who joined Sevilla in the January window on a permanent deal.

The 31-year-old who represented his native country at the 2006 World Cup has scored four goals in 13 appearances for Sassulo this season.
Boateng joined the Italian club from Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga after winning DFB-Pokal last season with a 2-0 victory over champions Bayern Munich.
The ex-Tottenham star has been influential to Sassulo's strong start in the early part of the season as they topped the table for a number of weeks before losing their position to Juventus and the likes.
