Out-of-favor Arsenal star, Mesut Ozil, has broken his silence after his side's 2-0 comfortable victory over Chelsea on Saturday night, January 19, at the Emirates.
Two first-half goals from Alexander Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny earned the hosts an important victory over their London rivals.
Ozil was an unused substitute during the tough Premier League clash even as his future at the Emirates remain under sharp speculation.
The German play-maker has not featured for the Gunners since their disappointing 1-1 draw with Brighton on Boxing Day.
His social media activity in recent weeks has been foretelling as the former Real Madrid star fights off reports he is not fit to play.
The 30-year-old has further intensified his diplomacy via his social media platforms by sending his teammates a congratulatory message following their victory over the Blues.
"Congratulations to the whole team tonight " Ozil posted on Instagram. "Well played," he added.
According to reports filtering through in the UK, Arsenal boss, Unai Emery, is keen to offload Ozil to raise funds for the transfer market.
However, the German's huge weekly wages at the club are understood to be a stumbling block for potential suitors.
